WILLS, TRUSTS & PROBATE

I have been helping families, professionals and business owners to put their affairs in order for over 20 years now.  I began my career in London before moving to Gloucestershire where I spent 15 years working closely with individuals and those with business interests to ensure that they were properly protected for whatever life might present.  Having relocated to North Yorkshire, I was delighted to join Legal Studio to work alongside like minded people who are focused on delivering high quality advice to their clients with an emphasis always on value, in every sense.

Specifically, I advise people on making or updating Wills, powers of attorney and assist with the administration of deceased’s estates.  This may also involve inheritance tax planning, advice about gifting assets to the next generation, care fee planning, trusts, and protecting co-ownership arrangements with property.   My clients range from young families to retired professionals to business owners/senior managers with varying degrees of personal wealth and complexity, but all sharing the same goal of making sure that their affairs are properly structured and tax efficient during their life journey, which inevitably changes course over time.  This may be due to the arrival of children, marriage, divorce, retirement, inheritance, a sale of a business, incapacity or death.  My role is to support people through their journey and to offer clear and pragmatic guidance on managing these trigger events.  I am proud to have long-standing relationships with my clients built on years of trust and respect and frequently work closely with their other professional advisors providing, where necessary, collective team support.

Away from the office, I am a keen cyclist and hiker and like nothing more than being on the side of a steep hill with the family and dogs!
