Stacey Pocock

I studied law at Sheffield Hallam University and my career in the legal profession began in 1999 as a paralegal. I completed the Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University, Leicester and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. My practical working experience has been gained from working with a national law firm as well as in-house with FTSE listed companies and most recently a niche commercial law firm.

I am an experienced litigator who deals with a wide range of business disputes including management and ownership disputes, landlord & tenant matters (commercial and residential), debt recovery, contract disputes, property and construction disputes. As well as County and High Court cases, I  also have experience of dealing with arbitration and matters in the Technology & Construction Court, First-Tier and Upper Tribunals and mediations.

I have acted for individuals and a range of clients from various sectors including health care professionals (GPs, Dentists and Opticians), manufacturing, service industries, professional sectors (lawyers, accountants, financial advisors) as well as sole traders, high street retailers and national developers.

In my spare time I relax by spending time with my family. I also enjoy live music and sport, particularly tennis, cricket and football and am a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday supporter.
